Shikhar Sahdev — Product Engineer

I'm Shikhar Sahdev, a product engineer based in New Delhi with a decade of experience shipping software people actually use. I work across the whole stack, but my centre of gravity is frontend architecture and real‑time systems — the parts of a product where engineering decisions become user-visible immediately.

Most of that decade has gone into Goldcast, where I joined as the second employee before there was a product. I built the events platform from nothing, it became the company's primary revenue engine carrying it from zero to $20M ARR, and in December 2025 Goldcast was acquired by Cvent. Along the way it ran events for teams at OpenAI, Canva, Mailchimp, Box and Intercom, and landed on Deloitte's 2025 Technology Fast 500.

The engineering underneath it: WebRTC audio/video that holds up for thousands of concurrent attendees inside locked-down enterprise networks, a theming architecture no competitor matched, and more recently AI tooling for video editing and page generation.

Before that I built logistics systems at Shipsy that unlocked pan‑India contracts, digital trauma registries for five Indian government hospitals with ICMR and AIIMS, and chipset‑level security at Samsung R&D. The through‑line is the same: find the part of the system that decides whether the product works, and own it.
