Overview

I became the star performer within months and was trusted with the projects that mattered most commercially. I handled pricing modules for DTDC, one of India’s biggest logistics players, and built a complex returns and settlements system the company had never supported before.

The highest-leverage piece was a generic last-mile tracking solution — customizable enough to serve any client, which unlocked Domino’s pan-India contract and could scale to McDonald’s, Swiggy and Zomato without a rewrite.

During COVID I built contactless delivery workflows, and created RTL/LTR compatible solutions for Middle East expansion — establishing Shipsy’s presence in that region.

What I built

  1. Pricing modules for DTDC

Handled pricing for one of India’s biggest logistics players.

  2. Returns & settlements

A complex system from scratch, covering payments, settlements and the full order lifecycle.

  3. Generic last-mile tracking

A customizable tracking product that unlocked Domino’s pan-India contract and scaled to other clients.

  4. Middle East platform

RTL/LTR compatible logistics platform enabling regional expansion.

  5. Contactless delivery

COVID-era workflows for safe, no-contact handover.

Hard problems

  1. One product, many clients

Designed the tracking solution generically, with a customizable UI, so McDonald’s, Swiggy and Zomato could be served from the same base.

  2. Returns are a lifecycle, not a screen

Handled payments, settlements and order state across the whole return journey.

  3. Right-to-left is not a CSS flag

Built genuine RTL/LTR support for international market expansion.

  4. Safety under constraint

Architected contactless workflows that met COVID-19 compliance without breaking existing operations.

Takeaway

How to become a star performer by taking ownership of critical projects, building solutions generic enough to scale, and expanding a product into new markets.
